LaBronn Conner – Blues

LaBronn Conner is an American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter; one of the most indifferent male rhythm and blues artists of his era. After just one day of releasing his debut single, “Blues”, he finds himself already beginning his follow up. Conner is the lead singer in his band with Joona Lukala. Conner pulls from his idols Tina Turner for his charismatic performing ability, Otis Redding for the power and agility, and Janis Joplin for the emotion and passion permeated through his music. Conner hopes to pave new ground with a brass and soulful sound.
“Blues”, was produced by Joona Lukala, and written by himself and his mother Brenda Conner. The song draws inspiration directly from the 1960s/1970s rhythm and blues scene. The song follows a structure that starts with a quiet and somber tone, and then transitions into a big and boisterous sound brass oriented sound. Ultimately, “Blues” is the culmination of his sound and is a perfect representation of this young artist’s beginnings.
