Ciam – Decades – A Tribute to Ian Curtis (of Joy Division)
‘CIAM’ is comprised of members Jeff Shapiro (Vocal, Guitars) and Hadar Goldman (Electric Violin/Viola). Decades comes as the second single from their forthcoming EP ‘Love In the Time of Corona.’
To mark the 40th anniversary of the passing of ‘Joy Division’s’ Ian Curtis, CIAM have recorded a stunning new version of ‘Decades,’ that concluded the second album, ‘Closer,’ released two months after Curtis’s death. CIAM have re-lit the track with a powerful cinematic approach.
As Shapiro comments, “Ian Curtis represented individualism, poetry, hope and a world moving out from darkness into light.”
