Big Si “Baby That Ain’t Nothin”

Big Si was born in Miami Florida. He was the product of a hard working mother Hazel Siler and his father Herbert Siler. Herbert was a professional boxer that faught Muhammad Ali in his second professional fight. Big Si, 1 of 6 kids 4 boys and 2 girls, came from a family of athletes.

He was a high school standout in basketball but, excelled in football, as did his brothers Lorenzo and Richard. His brother David drowned in a swimming pool accident at the age of seven. Big Si earned a scholarship to play football at Cal State Fullerton after 2 years of junior college football. He was a All-Conference linebacker and was a top prospect for the NFL. One night outside a popular southern California nightclub, Big Si was shot twice by an off-duty cop after teammates got into an altercation with him. He wasn’t the type to get into fights outside of the football field, he didn’t even know until later what the incident was even about. Big Si went from being on everybody’s draft list to being on nobody’s draft list. He was invited to go to the NFL national scouting but, ended up not getting drafted. He felt like if the incident had not happened he would’ve surely gotten drafted. After the draft he signed with the San Francisco 49ers and then the Raiders but, was released. Nobody actually gave him a chance and he felt like this was all from the incident.

This went on for years until Big Si got tired of trying to convince teams to sign him to a new contract. He was ready to hone in on his second passion, music. He always knew he could rap and knew what good music sounded like. Once he learned how to produce beats he was ready to tackle the music industry or at least he thought. He wrote and produced his first album entitled,” THE PRESSURE ALBUM.” It was a great album but, lacked the mainstream radio content he needed to promote his album, even though he sold over 27,000 units from the trunk of the car. Even though the streets loved it, he wasn’t able to reach everyone without a radio song.  He didn’t feel like his music was being used by the right artist so he decided to make a comeback. A more mature, much wiser, smarter, and more seasoned rapper and producer. Big Si was ready to take over the rap game. He’s back by popular demand with his new single entitled, “BABY THAT AINT NOTHIN”. It’s that fresh new sound, new look, with that lyrical content that we have all been waiting for.
