Adanita Ross – Free Falling

Queens, NY bred singer and songwriter Adanita Ross is ending her busy year by releasing her first recorded debut. Her journey has been long and tedious. At the age of ten she discovered her love for music and began studying legendary artists like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. By the age of 13, she was competing in local and regional talent shows such as Hal Jackson’s Talented Teens. At the age of 16, Adanita decided to pursue her dreams professionally.

After working with a variety of local producers that helped her further hone her craft, she landed the gig of a lifetime. She was selected to tour with Freedom Williams of the world famous C&C Music Factory. Her years on the road have helped Adanita further gain musical knowledge as well as the art of live entertaining. She has lent her vocals to various artists such as hip hop acts, Wordsworth, Punchline and the hip hop group EMC. 

In 2015 DreamWorks Animation released the NetFlix series Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show and soundtrack which featured the single Ferris Wheel with vocals by Adanita. Her years of hard work have culminated into her finally releasing her first EP entitled ”It’s Already Written.”
